Hi, I’m Tallie! I’m the webmistress and owner of Paper, Ink and Colour here at talliescorner.co.uk. I’m from the UK and I work full time during the week as a University Researcher, fitting in the crafty time whenever the day job permits!
In the last couple of years I have started to post more about my homemade cards and paper crafting bits that I make for family and friends. I took a couple of online colouring classes for Copic alcohol markers over at Kit and Clowder and have been working to improve my skills. I’m more of a clean and simple maker with bright, bold colours and cute critters, though my muse seems to have been expanding her repertoire recently. I’m not a big fan of girlie pinks, but I’m learning to incorporate them in cards for those that do! I have too many favourite stamp companies to name – the list would be too long and I’d always be adding to it! My favourite supplies can be found over on my Crafting Supplies page, so check that out if you’re wondering what I use in my projects.
I am a Design Team Member for Seven Hills Crafts and post every Wednesday over at the SHC blog. I’m also lucky enough to be a Special Contributor for HeffyDoodle, an amazing new UK startup, and join in the occasional blog hop!
Here are some of my favourite projects:
Tallie’s Corner was born back in 2010 when I first found the online pixel community, originally starting out making graphics for friends and the community on Livejournal. I opened my own pixel member area in Summer 2012. Sadly, that community is no longer as active as it once was and although my member area is still online, I am no longer actively updating it. If you were a member and still wish to have access, please contact me.
The things I make and share have been purchased by myself, won through entering various crafting competitions or sent on for me to make projects with (products in this last category will be marked). Some affiliate links may be used in crafting supply lists, where possible, and are provided at no cost to you. I usually link to Seven Hills Crafts, my favourite UK-based crafting supplier, or Amazon for more general products. All recommendations and links are provided because I have used and loved the product; I will not review or link something I don’t like. All opinions are my own, as are my mistakes.
