For the last couple of months Lesley Oman of Hungry Heffy Crafts has been holding a Friday night crafting session. I’ve not been able to attend all of them but I did manage to catch the episode on 9th June. Of course, it helped that she said she had a fantastic announcement! I’m really happy for her in that she and her husband are starting up their own stamp company! Woot! Heffy Doodle Stamps will be launching via Kickstarter on 3rd July 2017 and Lesley needs our help to promote it as far and wide as possible! Go check out her website for some sneak peaks of the really cute set she’s designed! I’m really excited about this as we definitely need more UK based high quality stamp companies!
During the session I was lucky enough to win a giveaway for an extra Distress Oxide Ink Pad and a week later I received these wonderful goodies in the post! She even kindly sent me some die cuts of the cute little elephants! Thank you, Lesley!
Of course, I had to send a thank you card back to her so it’s in the post and hopefully will get to her in time for her Friday night crafting session. I stamped out a load of images from Lawn Fawn’s Fintastic Friends, Critters in the Sea and Mermaid For You and coloured them in with my Copic markers. Of course, the mermaid had to be coloured like Ariel, the crab like Sebastien and the fish like Flounder! I die cut a circle from some masking paper and inked on some of the Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Ink onto the background. A Lawn Fawn Scripty Thanks and one of my most used sentiments from the Neat and Tangled Better Together set help to finish off the card. Hopefully she likes the card as I really do!
